Books written by Heather PrinceHeather Prince has written the two books listed below and is in the process of writing Diets for Children. The Rainbow Within
Bumbly Rabbit seeks self enlightenment by searching for the colours of the rainbow (energy chakras) and realizes that all the answers we seek are from within. The Rainbow Within is a picture story book aimed at age 7 - 10 years old. Bumbly Rabbit receives a visitor who informs her that she has been "chosen" to search for the rainbow within. She escapes from her hutch and begins an adventure. On her journey she meets a worm, a ginger cat, white seagull, caterpillar, toad, bee, pixie and snail who help her on her quest for the rainbow. The colours contained in a rainbow, link in with the energy centres (chakras) within, relating to strength, courage, love, peace, harmony etc. It helps with confidence, peace, love, intuition etc. This book is aimed at all children, but would greatly benefit children who find it a challenge to relax and those who don't enjoy bedtime! The relaxation CD allows the child's imagination to explore this special journey. You may purchase The Rainbow Within book for £6.75 (inc. P&P) or the The Rainbow Within Relaxation CD for £6.50 (inc. P&P). A special offer of £12 for the book and CD combined is also available. BackI Am Indigo
"Indigo children are those that have been prophesied, those that will bring with them a new understanding of life. This book aims to show you who you really are." Indigo children are intuitive, bright and strong-willed. Being a teenager is challenging anyway but being an Indigo is both wonderful and extra challenging. They are often misunderstood as they don't fit into the 'one size fits all' established rules and patterns. This causes problems at school and in the home. The book explains what an Indigo is and a questionnaire to discover if a person is an Indigo and which type. You'll be fascinated to discover why Indigos are here, what qualities they have and how to help Indigos using alternative solutions to improve self image, achieve their goals, and get along with parents/teachers. There are Indigo books available aimed at teachers and parents but nothing for the Indigo children themselves. As a Mother of an Indigo child, I have written this book for my son Michael and all the other Indigos. Available online at www.trafford.com or www.amazon.com BackDiet for ChildrenDiet for Children is a set of 4 books. I have felt inspired by the recent work of Jamie Oliver. As a mum of three, I was astounded that many children didn’t know a courgette from a cucumber. With busy family lives, many parents buy their food shopping via the internet and choose ready-meals for quickness. So kids just see the end result of dinner on a plate and therefore have no experience of choosing and creating their food from fresh produce. The children are also totally unaware of the fact that "they are what they absorb". A meal in our family was always a celebration. Eating in our home with my mother’s cooking was a very happy ritual. She loves her family and the food she cooked for us was an expression of that love, especially her famous apple pie! Therefore, I have inherited the same ethos. They are aimed at age 8+ and are divided into Fruits; Vegetables; Dairy; Salad and Grains, with hands-on recipes. The books will explain why fruits, vegetables etc, have such an important role in our diet as well as how they work to protect our health. The message is "bringing out the genius is fun". Helping children to tap their potential is not hard work. The books will allow them to see it as lots and lots of fun! The intention of these books is to educate the next generation, to change statistics to better the health of the nation. Of course they can be translated into different languages and better the health of the world. At the present moment it is remarkable what we are not eating: 41% do not eat fruit 82% do eat cruciferous vegetables 72% do not eat any fruits or vegetables high in vitamin C
80% do not eat any fruits or vegetables high in vitamin A 84% do not eat any high fibre grains, cereals or bread Back |
