Having a clear "intention"

Tuesday, 14 May 2013

The 1 Stone Support Group has had incredible results and I feel so pleased for the people who came along having tried "every" diet. 97% of diets don't work, so what was holding them back for their desired goal of achieving a balanced weight for their height?

We started the group on week 1 by knowing what we wanted, which was uncomplicated by confusion and is therefore a clear intention. Our body obeys clear intentions more easily than confused intentions. Every time we hesitate or feel mixed emotions, our intention is no longer clear. It’s the difference between enjoying a special celebration and attending the same celebration worrying that the band wont turn up or the caterer will let you down!

The problem of mixed emotions results in frustration. Do you feel indecisive, or unsupported in your decision-making? These factors affect not just you but the entire situation. Worse still are decisions that must be made where there is distrust, rivalry, and hidden agendas. A group of people with mixed motives will not achieve their goal, and when a bad result occurs and outsiders ask, "What were they thinking?” The answer is usually "They were thinking too many things at once."

Focused intention has long been given inexplicable power, but will not work if you're not sure what you want; think you aren't worthy; are unsure if the result will happen; have mixed emotions or feel inner conflict. So the group focused on purely losing 14 pounds of weight in a short period of time. We used meditation/visualisation to build self esteem and focused on changing old core beliefs to positive beliefs that this would work. We used Emotion Freedom Technique tapping to balance emotions and download positive affirmations and let go of any inner conflict.

For the first time in her life, one of the group, Angela said for the first time ever, she "liked herself". All her life she had beaten herself up, lost weight, gained weight and more then "hated herself". After six weeks she had lost 13 pounds. Ok it wasn't the 1 stone, but still a positive result and she felt something had just "clicked" and she had changed her eating completely without any problem. No longer Diet Coke; she chose sparkling water. No longer processed ready meals; she visited the supermarket and filled her trolly with healthy fresh vegetables, salad, fruit and fish. For the first time she ate slower, savouring the flavours in her mouth and realised that what she used to eat tasted awful! She stopped taking the bus to work and walked. Her black wardrobe changed with additional bright accessories.

The secret to holding focus is to make it effortless. Awareness likes to be focused when it is pleased, so apply your focus to the things that make you feel happy. Put your energy on things you love but also on things that most easily hold your attention and make you feel energized and vital.

Meditation during the course helped relax the participants into a receptive state, bringing about inner quiet. The positive suggestions were then able to sink in, bring feelings of pleasure, that positive steps forward towards their goal were being achieved.

Some of the others in the group didn't achieve the 1 stone loss due to "thinking too many things at once" and are still working on their clear "intention". It doesn't matter about the speed of the result, it's about getting there in the end! So they are continuing and we will be meeting once a month to deal with unresolved deep core beliefs. As they say "Rome wasn't built in a day".

If you wish to deal with your deep core beliefs and have clear "intention" to achieve your goal, please contact me.

Abundance!!!

Abundance is part of the world we live in and we have examples of it all around us. For example, a tomato needs to produce only one seed to ensure that another tomato plant can grow. But each tomato contains hundreds of seeds. This kind of abundance exists in our personal reality, where we have an abundance of many things and the possibility to create much more.

We often associate abundance with wealth and the 'good' things in life but abundance is not judgmental. It is present in everything we have in quantity, whether that is money or lack of it, love or loneliness, joy or sorrow, peace or chaos. And it is when we are at the lowest point in our lives that our ability to create transformation in the kind of abundance we have been manifesting is at its peak-because we no longer have the luxury of being powerless.

At that moment we must become powerful and can no longer be afraid. That is when can turn things around and then we understand how power and abundance are related.

We can believe that it is the powerful people in the world who have learned the art of manifesting abundance. But they haven't, they just know how to make a lot of money. The most powerful people are those who know and accept themselves, have a strong inner knowing of their Source connection and know how to use their power in a powerful way.

If you knew, for example, that every thought had energy and manifested in your life in some way, would you have the thought you are thinking at this moment?

Are You A People Pleaser?

Friday, 26 April 2013

Are you always aiming to keep other people happy?  Do you find it a huge challenge to say NO?

Is this starting to "ring bells" with you?  Are you feeling "all over the place"?

Ask yourself....

What happened when you were a child?  Did you wish to please Mum and/or Dad?  What did you feel when you didn't please Mum and/or Dad?

Or perhaps you wished to please your teacher at school.  What did you feel when you didn't please the teacher?

Now that you're an adult, are you always trying to keep your partner happy?  Have you lost yourself because now you don't know what YOU truly want?  What would it feel like to say NO to your partner, if for instance they suggested going to an event, restaurant or destination that didn't appeal to you? Is there a fear of losing them?  If you did lose them, what would you feel?  This is not a suggestion for them not to be in your life, it's for you to be AWARE of the emotions attached to your "pleasing" role.

When you become AWARE the emotions can be let go, leaving space to create a balanced relationship that is more fulfilling.

Do you work for someone who you are always aiming to please?  Do they ask you to stay longer hours; do menial tasks, such as feeding their cat or collecting their dry cleaning and you never say NO, even though there's no "overtime"?  Is this a fear of losing your job?  Do you love your job?  Is it fulfilling? Have you ever day-dreamed of doing something you would love but have dismissed it?

Have you considered what it would feel like to please yourself?  Do you need approval from other people regarding what you wish to pursue in life?  Ask yourself why?

If you would like to work with me to move forward and enjoy a positive and fulfilling lifestyle, please contact me - heather@heatherprince.co.uk

Support Group to Lose 1 Stone in 6 Weeks Using Meditation

Monday, 15 April 2013

It was so exciting when I had a "lightbulb" moment and created a new 6-week course to support people who have tried every "diet" and have not achieved their goal!  In fact most of them had lost weight, then regained it again plus more!  So as this had been my own journey, I decided that there had to be a simple solution and created the "Support Group to Lose 1 Stone" over a period of 6 weeks.  Weighing is only on the first week and the last week, as this course is not about numbers and it's not about a specific "diet".  That word is banned.  Only healthy eating is encouraged and no foods banned, so your mind lets go of the concept of "deprivation".

So many people feel that their happiness is determined by the scales or the size of their clothes! When did people give all this power to numbers? Why did they give up their identity to the degree that their weight or size was so important? How did they lose themself.
This applies to many people I know. We give up who we are for our families, our jobs, any crisis that comes our way. We may be able to meet all the demands physically, but what happens to our insides -- not our organs per se, but our soul?
We lose that part and it cries out to be nourished in ways that are foreign to our mind. We know we feel empty, so we eat. Then we go on one diet after another. We know fad diets don't work long term. We lose and gain the same weight over and over again. Each attempt increases our stress. Each failure diminishes our self-esteem. Why do we repeat this rollercoaster over and over again? I've come to think that one reason is that we're approaching the problem from the wrong direction. We have the wrong goal. Numbers on a scale or size tags on our clothes are not enough for us to achieve or maintain these numbers. I believe this for one reason: if numbers were satisfaction enough, we'd do it. The one and only thing we can truly control is how much food we put in our mouths. So if numbers are not enough and permanent weight loss is our aim, then what can we do?
To begin with, we must care about self. We must desire a higher energy level. We must relish good muscle mass, healthy bones and proper stature no matter what our size. That's the physical world piece. The next piece is to think about what purpose our body serves. Beyond the obvious, it's YOU. It's who you are to the world. But it also houses your soul and spirit... your essence... YOU. Knowing that, doesn't it seem obvious that to honor you properly you ought to nourish yourself -- your house -- properly?  It's like putting the best petrol in your dream car!
As a human being of course there are going to be slip-ups. We all need comfort foods occasionally. But the point is to be aware of when we give in. To be alert to the triggers. To be honest about what we are doing. To be responsible for getting back on track.
This means we live our lives in a state of being awake. Not in a fog. Not excusing or blaming. Not in denial. We can attain this by using meditation. If you don't like that word call it mindful relaxation, chosen relaxation -- it's one and the same. The fact is these are the goals and the results of consistent practice of meditation: living awake, alert and aware.
It affects every facet of our life. We can consciously direct where we most focus our attention using these qualities as our needs change. We use our energies to mend what is broken in us. Eventually we will integrate this positive energy until it is a natural state and available to us all the time. Pretty awesome to realize how much we can manage how we feel and act regarding our own life.
This task takes time and commitment to accomplish, but we can do it. Meditation will take you there. Meditation is sitting quietly. Meditation is learning to do nothing and becoming comfortable in nothingness. It requires courage to face the truth that will come to you, strength to seek change, patience to achieve your goals and faith to continue to do the work. All of this will come to you during your meditation in the form of an inner voice or intuitive messages that you will grow to trust. From nothing comes truth. From truth comes courage. From courage comes change. All require faith.
The aim of this Support Group is about feeling in control; healthy eating; changing habits; altering perceptions and feeling good.

It started 2 weeks ago and the participants are now in their third week.  We have looked at deep core beliefs; the archetype within us of the saboteur (who sabotages our best efforts!) and how to deal with it, plus the core root of all healing which is loving ourself!  We have used visualisation and EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) tapping to support our intention to lose weight and the results of the group has been amazing!

I am starting a morning group starting this Wednesday at 10am until 11.30am in Loughton, if anyone wishes to enrol. But if evenings is better, the next course will start on Thursday 16th May at 7pm - 8.30pm.
Maybe last week a tough one for you? We had several strong solar flares, including an earth-facing CME (coronal mass ejection) which arrived around April 13.  We feel this radiation as a electromagnetic shift because that is what it does to us. When this happens, the best thing to do is rest, drink lots of water, limit your physical activity and sleep if you need to. It does pass in a couple of days.

YES WE CAN DO IT!!!

Thoughts and Words create our reality!

Monday, 8 April 2013

Are you fulfilling your full potential?  Like a peacock, are you showing your full beauty?

I explained to a man this week that every thought, word and action reflects a belief and they all have an energetic cost in our life. If we look at our beliefs and the judgments we derive from them, in terms of how they either expand or limit the flow of energy in our life, we can also look at our life in terms of value and whether we are unconsciously limiting energy flows in subtle ways. While we think of value in terms of money, we have to also apply them to energy because it is through our beliefs and judgments that we mange our energetic resources.

He kept repeating that he was just a "worker, not a business owner" and I could feel his lack of self-esteem and feeling limited in his life. He said ‘I can’t afford it’ a few times during our meeting, with regard to moving on with his life after separation, and living the life he wishes. He mentioned his mother’s chronic back condition and carpel tunnel syndrome which he felt was due to old age and how he was brought up with the belief of "lack" and "not enough".

I felt there was more to it than that.  Problems in the wrist indicate a lack of flexibility or difficulty in deciding what your hands should be doing.  You don't acknowledge the right to use your hands to do something that gives you pleasure, for fear of making a mistake or of not being capable.  It happens to people who ask too much of themselves and may even believe they don't deserve to have a job that is enjoyable and fun and so feel guilty about it.  The body is saying that you are inflexible in your thinking.

I wondered in what other areas of his life he was continuing these inherited patterns of limiting beliefs and judgments that he learned from family, as he didn't feel fulfilled in his job but was fearful of trying anything new in his "middle age". These beliefs are almost always part of our energetic lineage, we believe and think as we are taught to and learn from our parents but we also have the opportunity to change them.

Our desire for something different is followed by a thought that either limits its expression or expands our ability to receive enough energy to empower it. With every belief and judgment, we are either empowering our joy or limiting its expression because it’s all about the flow of energy. Our beliefs, especially our victim beliefs, can extract a heavy price when they create judgments that cost us joy, peace, love, serenity, security and movement.

Judgments limit the flow of energy to what we are judging and they are absolute statements that reflect our limiting beliefs.
“I can’t afford it” reflects the belief we are undeserving.
“I can’t have that” reflects the belief that we are unworthy.
“It won’t happen for me” reflects the belief that we are powerless.

Anything we want is part of our field of potential but we have to be willing to receive the energy to create it, which we can’t do when we’re judging our abilities through our limiting beliefs.

What limiting beliefs do you have that keep you confined in a reality that is unhappy, confused, insecure, and lacks the energy for expansion? Do you feel like a victim in your life? Would you like to research what "programs" you have inherited  and have them "cleared" with Spiritual Response Therapy? It can go back six generations and yes it can be cleared with SRT!

If yes, please contact me for an appointment either via email for anyone living anywhere.

 Yes You Can Do It!
